About the Position

Urgent Care MD

Location: Georgia

Schedule: Ongoing per diem shifts (8 hour and 12 hour options)

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Provide urgent care coverage including evaluation and treatment of common acute conditions.
• Perform typical urgent care procedures such as suturing and basic injury care as needed.
• Read basic diagnostics and manage walk in patient flow during clinic operating hours.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (Experity Velocidoc).

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Urgent care experience.
• DEA.
• Comfort seeing ages 2 and older.
• Ability to float within the assigned region based on coverage needs.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
