Lead Financial Analyst - FP&A and IT Finance (Hybrid) Location: Providence,RI, US Date Posted: 08-12-2026 Experience: Senior Level Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives. Conduct regular variance analysis, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights to leadership. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision‑making around strategic initiatives, capital investments, and potential mergers and acquisitions. Drive the design and delivery of financial KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management. Leverage advanced Excel skills and tools like PowerBI to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and present findings in a clear, concise manner. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into financial plans. Continually improve FP&A processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), ideally in a lead role. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas. Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong experience in variance analysis and KPI development. Proficiency in PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information and concepts to non‑financial audiences. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
