Ninja Physio was founded by Dr. Lily Yu, PT, DPT, CSCS, for active people who want long-term results, not temporary relief. We’re a cash-pay practice that combines sports and performance physical therapy, so treatment works with your training instead of replacing it. Every client works one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, from the first evaluation all the way back to performance. Our clients are runners, lifters, CrossFit athletes, pickleball players, martial artists, and active adults, including a growing number of women who were told to slow down, skip strength training, or accept pain as normal. This role is based at our Austin clinic on North I-35. We’re growing, and we need the right person to grow with us. ABOUT THE ROLE: Full-time, salaried position. One-on-one, fitness-forward care with no insurance limits on how you treat. You’ll see 6 to 8 clients a day, using strength and conditioning to get them past pain and back to performing. You’ll report directly to Dr. Lily Yu, who mentors every new PT, and you’ll have the freedom to make your own clinical calls. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Find the real problem. Run thorough evaluations, dig into the why, and build a plan that fits how each client trains and lives. Coach strength, not just rehab. Use progressive strength and conditioning, dry needling, and hands-on coaching to move clients from pain to performance, and keep them there. Sell the plan. We’re all cash pay, so you’ll walk clients through their program and help them commit to it. If you believe in your plan, this part comes naturally. Own your caseload. Carry about 30 visits a week. Go above that and you earn a bonus. Keep getting better. Learn directly from Lily, with continuing education support and access to the latest technology and equipment. First 30 Days Learn our systems, standards, and clinical approach, including IntakeQ and our fitness apps. Get to know Lily, the team, and our client community. Begin treating clients with mentorship support. By Day 60 Build toward 30 visits a week with strong client results. Confidently present and sell programs to new clients. Operate with increasing independence. By Day 90 Run a self-directed caseload at 80% schedule capacity (30 to 32 arrived visits a week) with 60% POC conversion. Deliver measurable client outcomes. Help shape where the practice goes next. NEED TO HAVE: Licensure: Active Texas PT license, or one that will be finalized before the end of 2026. Experience: 1 to 2 years of outpatient ortho or sports PT experience. Strength background: You coach weightlifting or lift seriously yourself, and you have real coaching experience Dry needling: Trained and comfortable using it in treatment Sales comfort: You can explain the value of a program and help clients commit to their plan Communication: Clear, detailed, and consistent. You keep clients and the team in the loop. Reliability: You show up, every time. Dependable, motivated, and coachable.
