Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures while clearly explaining each step
• Work closely with radiologists and referral physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues that arise
• Document procedures accurately and keep patient records updated in the electronic medical records system
• Stay engaged with the latest developments in sonography techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
