You'll provide care to various hospitals across the central region, including UPMC Carlisle, Community Osteopathic, Hanover, Harrisburg, Lititz, Memorial, and West Shore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Cardiac Ultrasound procedures according to guidelines established by the Medical Director, including Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, and Echo with contrast.
• Accurately code and identify completed exams for electronic processing and storage.
• Function independently and maintain flexibility to cover shifts, on-call responsibilities, and satellite locations when needed.
• Work across multiple clinical areas, ensuring adequate staffing and supporting department needs.

Requirements:

• Two years of experience as an Echocardiography Sonographer.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• Proficiency in performing various echocardiographic procedures, including M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, Transesophageal echo, and Stress echocardiography.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and team members, demonstrating empathy, respect, and clear communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments and maintain consistent performance in diverse clinical settings.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Certification in Adult, Pediatric, or Fetal echocardiography required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
• OAPSA with renewal
