Radiologic Technologist

Site: Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, Inc. Job Summary Per diem Radiologic Technologist to provide advanced clinical level of quality patient care and produce radiologic images used for diagnosis and treatment at Weymouth and Pembroke locations of the Mass General Brigham Medical Group. Responsibilities Determine appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patient condition to obtain quality images for radiologists. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, including transportation, transfer, immobilization, and positioning. Explain procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs. Record digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation. Maintain pertinent records. Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. Assist Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic rooms. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Imaging (required). Registered Technologist [R.T. (ARRT)] – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred). Radiology Technician experience with multiple patient populations, 2–3 years (required).
