The role involves working directly with the client’s customers via phone and email to address service-related issues. The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Role/Responsibilities: Administer LANs, WANs, and remote networks, including hardware, software, protocols, and security. Support and manage Solaris 11, Debian Linux, Juniper, Cisco, Mikrotik, ADTRAN networking gear, and related systems. Respond to customer calls regarding Internet and VoIP services. Document troubleshooting and resolution steps thoroughly. Install, configure, and maintain Solaris and Linux systems. Research and implement automated solutions for system administration. Monitor systems daily, verify hardware and system integrity, and review logs. Manage user accounts and apply system patches and upgrades. Maintain operational procedures and configurations. Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience and certifications. JNCIA or CCNA certifications required; JNCIP-SP preferred. Juniper experience and certifications are highly valued. 2-4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF protocols. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Perl, Python. Availability to work flexible shifts, including one weekend day.
