We are seeking a manufacturing project manager to join our team, overseeing the successful execution of projects that are assigned by the organization. This includes directing the activities of team members, managing resources, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.In this role, you will lead and manage a project through completion, overseeing successful output. This involves defining scope and objectives, managing the project budget and resources, assembling and leading the project team, and communicating with stakeholders. You will monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure the final deliverables while acting as a liaison between the project team, immediate stakeholders, and management.ResponsibilitiesDevelop project plans and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budgetCreate and manage project schedules, resources, and budgetsMonitor project progress and identify areas of risk or opportunityManage stakeholders and provide periodic updatesIdentify and resolve project issues and conflictsEnsure that project deliverables are metImplement and monitor quality assurance processesMaintain project documents, records, and filesDevelop and coach project teams, including providing feedback and guidanceRequired Skills / ExperienceDevelopment of project plans, including scope, timelines, and objectives with defined deliverables and set performance metricsExperience working with cross functional teams such as engineering, production, supply chain, and warehousing organizationsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production lifecycles, shop floor operations, supply chain management, and inventory controlCreate and execute work plans, assign tasks to team members and monitor project progress and adjust plans as neededA strong understanding of managing project costs and financial resources is essentialProficient computer skills, experience with microsoft office suite; working knowledge of ms project, jira, confluenceThe ability to strategically align projects with broader organizational goalsDesired Skills / Experience (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)Experience with manufacturing processesExperience with production facility expansionManufacturing-specific knowledge of concepts like continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality control is highly valuedQualificationsBachelor's degree, or industry/military equivalent progressive experience5 or more years of experience in project or program management, administration, or related rolespmp certification is a plusEchodyne's technology is export controlled by the u.s. government and we must evaluate an applicant's eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required government authorizations.
