$2023.00/week - Job Summary: The Polysomnographic Technologist is responsible for conducting and scoring sleep studies for both inpatients and outpatients. This role involves setting up sleep study equipment, monitoring procedures, and downloading data to support diagnostic assessments of sleep disorders. Responsibilities: Perform and score sleep studies on inpatients within the hospital setting. Set up and initiate home sleep studies for outpatient clients. Monitor patients during sleep studies to ensure equipment is functioning correctly. Download and analyze sleep study data to provide accurate results for clinicians. Maintain compliance with safety standards and proper documentation procedures. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications: Hold an active RPSGT certification. Possess an associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred. Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association before start date. Demonstrate previous experience in a sleep lab setting. Show involvement in professional affiliations and additional skill registrations is preferred.
