Carrier Sales Coordinator

: The Carrier Sales Coordinator role will be responsible for supporting the Carrier Sales Teams within the Freight Brokerage department. This role will be focused primarily on key operational functions, including but not limited to appointment scheduling, track and trace, and general communication with both carriers and customers. The chosen candidate will have a unique opportunity to join a growing team with an excellent reputation and be part of the fresh supply chain. Teamwork, creativity, determination, and the drive to find solutions, are the focus of this department. Schedule: Monday - Friday 800am-500pm. One Saturday morning every 7-8 weeks (optional); 700am-1200pm Location: Ephrata, PA (onsite) What you get to do as a Carrier Sales Coordinator

• Grow existing carrier relationships.
• Monitor shipment activity including pick-ups, deliveries, and freight in transit.
• Verify pickup and delivery information is accurate in TMS.
• Coordinate shipper and delivery appointments with necessary parties
• Provide timely and accurate updates to customers both internal and external.
• Leverage general technology to enhance service to the customer and to strengthen the capability of Sunrise Logistics

What you bring

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• A detail oriented, self-started with a desire for growth and excellent customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience within the transportation industry preferred.
• Proven experience in effective planning and problem solving
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have high attention-to-detail
• Procedural mindset with ability to prioritize and efficiently manage high e-mail volume
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors via email and phone.
• Ability to perform, collaborate, and effectively work with others in a team-based environment
• Adequate interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (preferred)
