Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of clients. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adjusting techniques based on each client's unique situation. \n
- Employ various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring tailored support for diverse mental health challenges. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for every client. \n
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with ethical standards and relevant regulations. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to remain informed about advancements in the field of mental health. \n
Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults seeking guidance through various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Your role as an LPC will involve building therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, understanding their unique experiences, and adapting approaches to meet their specific needs.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey. \n
- At least two years of experience delivering counseling services within a clinical setting. \n
- Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards in counseling practice. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary to foster rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to manage client information and treatment documentation. \n

- Specialization in fields such as trauma, substance abuse, or family therapy is highly desirable. \n
