We are seeking a Field Service Technician based in Tacoma, WA covering Pierce and Thurston counties. We’re open to candidates who are new to the industry and have a strong mechanical background, as well as those with prior field service experience. Compensation will be based on experience. As a Field Service Technician, you will create an Exceptional Client Experience while you provide onsite repair and installation on a variety of dental equipment. - Build relationships and perform timely repairs and installation services for both basic and complex equipment/projects.
- Complete all service orders at the time of service and review the work performed and parts used (or ordered) with the client or responsible staff member before leaving the client’s office.
- Complete repairs that impress by consistently troubleshooting and performing repairs that keep our offices up and running. Educates office staff on how to use and maintain their equipment.
- Complete installations that impress by leading installation teams, ensuring on-time project completion, completing punch-list on final visit, ensuring there are no call backs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Face-to-face customer service experience.
- 3+ years of technician experience on a variety of equipment.
- Ability to travel locally by car to client offices, meetings, trainings, and events as assigned.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record (as defined by Burkhart’s liability insurance), and be insurable at all times. This position requires that you drive a variety of vehicles, none of which require special commercial licensing.
- Vocational training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or military technical training.
- Project lead experience.
- Dental experience.
- Salary Range of $26.45 to $45.67 per hour. In addition to base pay, Field Service Technicians are eligible for quarterly productivity bonuses and annual profit sharing.
