Cyber Security Engineer II

Leading a team of threat intelligence analysts, the full-time Cyber Security Engineer II will proactively hunt for advanced threats, analyze cyber intelligence, and enhance the organization's security posture in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Lead, build, and mentor a team of threat intelligence analysts while providing strategic direction for the threat intelligence function Collect, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence from various sources, including OSINT and SIEM Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and develop automated workflows for threat detection and response Required qualifications Minimum of 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5+ years focused on threat intelligence analysis Strong expertise in threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and endpoint detection technologies Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and SQL for data analysis and automation Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and indicators of compromise (IoCs) Security certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, or equivalent are highly preferred
