Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 ten-hour shifts, with 10-11 call shifts per month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Technologist will support procedures in the Cath Lab and hybrid OR, providing care in interventional cardiology, STEMI, peripherals, and device implants. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cases within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and device implants.
• Scrub and/or circulate during interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in call rotations and be available for emergency procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in West Virginia.
• Experience with IABP and IVUS preferred.
