About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR) Circulator for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care and perform circulating responsibilities while supporting safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Candidates must have strong Operating Room circulating experience and be comfortable participating in a shared on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Operating Room circulating duties and support safe, efficient surgical procedures.

• Assess patients and provide appropriate perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process.

• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention standards, and proper surgical documentation.

• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care throughout the perioperative experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of Recent Operating Room / Circulating Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Active California Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current BLS Certification Required.

• TB Clearance Completed Within the Previous 12 Months Required.

• Ability to Work Monday Friday Day Shifts and Participate in a Shared On-Call Rotation Required.
