Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule: Variable evenings and nights, every other weekend required

Requirements: 2 years of RN experience, triage experience (required), certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, EMR system: Epic, key skills: triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV initiation/maintenance, blood product administration, central line care, pediatric emergency care, trauma experience, familiarity with STEMI and stroke care

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for patients in an emergency department setting, assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs for individuals of all ages, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuous quality care, maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, uphold safety and compliance standards in a fast-paced environment

Compliance / Notes: Must have a vehicle for this assignment, references: 2 required covering the last year, including Charge RNs/Leads, up to 6 total days or 3 consecutive days of requested time off are auto-approved; additional requests require client approval, 16 hours of pre-start modules expected; over 20 hours requires prior approval, 50-mile radius rule noted
