Reviews, monitors and ensures compliance with assigned program area's policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Participates in meetings with Managed Care Organizations as point of contact for specific PI projectsProvide technical support to Managed Care Organization in the conduct of QI projects.Support, lead quality performance improvement activitiesPrepare routine PI performance updates and reportsDevelop and facilitate trainings to assist network provider agencies in completing quality PI projectsSupports ongoing reporting of performance in alignment with state and federal regulatory requirementsAnalyze data submitted by Managed Care Organizations to monitor and track performancePerforms other related duties, as assignedKey Qualifications :• Strong background in Project Management in a healthcare setting• Significant experience in Quality Improvement, Disease Management, Primary care or Case Management in a managed care health plan environment• Superior communication and writing skills• Knowledge of Microsoft office applications, including Excel• Ability to participate on a team to accomplish tasks• Ability to work with all stakeholders: members, network, families, and government staff in a caring and respectful manner, and with due understanding of and consideration for cultural differencesAGENCY SPECIFIC PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following skills /experience) :Clinical experience working with Quality and Performance Improvement projectsWorking knowledge of compliance, ethics, federal or state programs.Experience within Medicaid programs.Knowledge of managed care and fee-for-service delivery modelsPrior work experience working with a managed care organizationMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma/GED and four (4) years of job-related experience; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Complnc Specialist 2 (RCP061) or position equivalent.-Note: Some positions may require a certification or licensure. -Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerThe State of Georgia does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or other protected categories in employment or the provision of services.Qualified applicants may request reasonable accommodation when needed during the application and/or screening process by contacting the appropriate agency Human Resources department. #J-18808-Ljbffr
