Ultrasound Technologist PRN Job Summary and Qualifications You will perform diagnostic procedures on all parts of the body and the following common exams: Limited OB Pelvic – trans‑abdominal and trans‑vaginal Head/Neck‐thyroid, lymph nodes, carotid Invasive procedures – Biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis Abdominal Renal Small Parts Additional responsibilities include completing the patient’s history form, documenting the technologist exam sheet, checking labs as needed, completing consent forms when necessary, and restocking exam rooms with required supplies between patients.
