Position Summary

This role will assist with a variety of general accounting and administrative duties, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, willing to learn, and comfortable working with numbers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with general accounting and bookkeeping duties.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial information in accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and files.
• Assist with reviewing transactions for accuracy.
• Assist with preparing reports and financial information.
• Provide support with month-end accounting activities.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and employees regarding basic accounting questions.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies and correcting errors.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Accounting coursework, education, or experience with financial software is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers and learning new software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based and involves regular use of computers, accounting software, and standard office equipment.

Position is Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
