About the Clinician's WorkdayThe gastroenterologist will provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day shift basis, with hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, extended as patient volume requires. Clinical responsibilities include managing 8-12 consults and 2-8 procedures per day across inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinicians must be open to covering both inpatient and outpatient needs, with inpatient EUS and ERCP experience preferred though not required. Call coverage is required and may be scheduled every night or every other night; APP support is available at multiple locations.
