Start Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Day shift, no weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $83,000 - $94,000/year

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in delivering personalized treatment plans to help veterans regain mobility and independence.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities, monitoring patient progress and adjusting techniques as needed.
• Document patient responses and progress accurately to ensure seamless communication within the care team.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety practices to promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize rehabilitation outcomes in a 300-bed veterans facility.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (or eligibility to obtain one in Oklahoma) required.
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Prior DOR (Director of Rehab) experience highly preferred.
• Open to considering all disciplines and experience levels.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for serving our veteran community.

Knowledge & Skills

• Rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercise
• Patient care documentation and medical records
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• Compassionate care for a veteran population
• Knowledge of DOR operations (preferred)
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
