The Endocrinology Division at our organization is actively seeking an Academic Endocrinologist for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor. This role involves engaging in clinical practice while also providing educational support to students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:
- Engage in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences focusing on thyroid, pituitary, and pathology cases.
- Gain exposure to a diverse range of endocrinopathies within a tertiary referral center.
- Collaborate with a dedicated diabetes education team , which includes Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES) .
- Utilize an ultrasonography suite for conducting thyroid ultrasounds and fine needle aspirations (FNAs).
- Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research.
- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in various aspects of endocrinology.
- Explore opportunities to specialize in specific areas of endocrinology, such as thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, or transgender medicine, if desired.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- MD/DO or equivalent, with board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
- A strong dedication to education and teaching .
- Willingness to thrive in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary setting .
The position offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $220,000, along with opportunities for incentive bonuses.
