Subject Matter Expert (Passport SME)

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Passport SME) with a Secret Security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The SME will support mission objectives by advising, developing solutions, and implementing efficiencies in a specialized technical area. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to produce or review sophisticated technical documentation as defined in the Statement of Work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance to support mission objectives and organizational efficiencies.
• Develop, analyze, and improve processes in area of expertise.
• Solve complex operational and technical problems.
• Ensure organizational and technical compliance with relevant standards or regulations.
• Produce and/or review substantive and complex technical documentation.
• Offer strategic recommendations based on subject matter expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in the designated subject matter expertise area.
• Master’s degree in a related field or 12 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirement:

• Secret security clearance
