The Irsay Institute is an interdisciplinary sociomedical sciences research institute dedicated to supporting faculty research. One goal of the Irsay Institute is to bring together university and statewide expertise around mental health and stigma issues and to look for ways to create sustainable change through networking with others and developing policy recommendations. The Institute seeks an experienced project manager to lead a team of academic researchers and professionals at Indiana University, organizing and leading regular business meetings with stakeholders, managing events at a high programmatic level, and producing project content and reports. Department-Specific Responsibilities Leads a team of academic researchers and professionals at Indiana University, the state of Indiana, and beyond to manage projects with outreach, tailored communications, meetings, reports, and workshops across a variety of both major, grant-funded initiatives and smaller research and research-related projects related to social science and health research in conjunction with Irsay faculty partners as they emerge. Organizes and leads regular business meetings with faculty, students, staff, and research subjects, including note-taking, coordinating team tasks, following up and corresponding with team participants, alongside administrative tasks in support of specific projects, reporting, and preparing and leading presentations. High-level programmatic event management, serves as a liaison between the Irsay team, academic PI/Chair, and other events professionals in translating event vision and goals into timelines, budgets, communications, and action. Produces project content and reports for various audiences including participants, stakeholders, policymakers, and funders. General Responsibilities Manages medium to large projects, from start to finish, ensuring on time completion within budget. Develops project plan(s) and efficiently analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls. Coordinates and facilitates efforts of project team(s) consisting of various staff and hourly employees. Communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance. Collaborates to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames. Participates in client meetings, vendor/contract decisions, and development of project requirements and specifications. May provide guidance and support to less experienced peers. Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Required Bachelor's degree in relevant fieldWORK EXPERIENCE
