Join our team of strategic advisers and architects, differentiated by our industry depth to collaborate with leading solution providers and leverage your experience in strategy, process design, technology enablement, and operational services to enable heart-of-the-business solutions.Recruiting for this role ends on 08/31/2026.Work you'll doAs a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the GPS SAP business transformation team, you will be responsible for supporting SAP-enabled transformation initiatives across the implementation lifecycle.Support SAP implementation and modernization efforts, including SAP S/4HANA programs and ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation activities.Configure SAP functionality to support business process requirements and fit-to-standard design decisions.Document requirements, assumptions, risks, issues, and decisions in collaboration with business, technical, integration, and data teams.Support process design workshops, integrated testing, and deployment activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, and stabilization.Develop, maintain, and govern implementation deliverables, including solution design documents, configuration rationale, test scripts, cutover inputs, deployment readiness materials, and status updates.A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.Our SAP business transformation services drive to improve performance and value delivered by the full suite of SAP solutions.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance2+ years of experience working in regulated environments with enterprise resource planning controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements2+ years of experience producing or governing implementation deliverables, including solution design documentation, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, and deployment readiness materials1+ years of experience delivering SAP implementations, including SAP S/4HANA transformation work1+ years of experience configuring SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECCAbility to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred:Active Secret ClearanceExperience supporting Department of Defense and/or U.S. Federal civilian agency enterprise resource planning modernization programsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $82,600 to $162,800.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
