Nurse Director of Emergency Department

Hospital system looking to bring on Director Emergency Department! Sign On Bonus and Full Relocation! Reporting to the chief nursing officer for the site and through subordinate leadership personnel, directs practice, quality, personnel, operations and financial activities of nursing services and other departments, such as respiratory therapy, as assigned. Responsible for nursing staffing, resource recruitment and staff development. Promotes advanced nursing practice and career development opportunities for staff through leadership, educational opportunities and advancement incentives. Ensures the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and nursing standards in accordance with hospital standards of care, government and licensing requirements. Qualifications: Master’s Degree Required in Nursing, Business, Health Care Administration or related field. Of two degrees one must be in Nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan. Current certification in a related nursing specialty, preferred.
