Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification for school social work (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to intervene and support students facing behavioral, emotional, or social challenges
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Capacity to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop actionable plans of support
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and direct case management
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop strategies that promote student well-being and academic success
• Assist with referrals to community agencies and resources as needed
• Promote a positive school climate and advocate for equitable student access to services
• Keep thorough records and comply with school and federal guidelines
