What You'll Do
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation care for adult patients on a specialized 11-bed unit
- Support hospitalists with medical management when needed
- Perform bread-and-butter inpatient rehab procedures including joint injections and baclofen pumps
- Manage 810 patients per day, focusing on complex rehabilitative needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist with consultations on acute care as needed
What You Need
Required:- Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (certified or actively participating in exam process)
- Illinois State medical license
- DEA and CSR certifications
- ACLS certification
- 1-2 years inpatient rehab experience or recent completion of ACGME/AOA accredited residency in PM&R
- Experience with inpatient rehab units, complex patient management, and specific procedures such as joint injections or baclofen pump management
