Sweetwaters opens in October 2026-apply today to learn more about joining our opening team! Job Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the restaurant by ensuring all dining areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This role supports the overall guest experience by performing routine cleaning, stocking supplies, and assisting with general upkeep to ensure a safe and organized facility. Basic Job Duties:Perform thorough cleaning, sanitization, and vacuuming of event spaces, restrooms, kitchens, during, and after events.Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all surfaces, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment for guests.Assist with organizing and tidying event spaces and storage areas as needed.Safely manage and store cleaning supplies and equipment, adhering to proper handling and safety protocols.Promptly respond to requests from event managers, captains, and clients, maintaining professionalism at all times.Support trash removal and recycling efforts during and after events, ensuring all areas remain clean and orderly.Monitor and replenish restroom and common area supplies to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.Report any issues or shortages beyond your control to the Captain or Manager for timely resolution.Adhere to safety guidelines by wearing manufacturer-certified non-slip shoes at all times while on duty.Perform additional tasks as required to support event operations and overall cleanliness.  Qualifications:Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hospitality or event setting.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays are mandatory.Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Knowledge of safety standards and proper cleaning techniques. Top-notch Benefits:Not only do you get to share your passion and abilities with the company and our guests, but we offer a variety of opportunities and benefits to our team members as well:24 hours paid Sick Time renewed yearlyManagement Referral Program with up to a $4,000 payout for qualifying management positionsEmployee Meals – Free meal for every eight-hour shiftEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) to assist with work life balancePaid vacation starting at 2 weeks per yearMoral (PRIDE) Program- rewarding employees with a variety of prizes for those who exemplify the company's values.Numerous opportunities for growth and advancementPay $16-$18/hr Physical Demands:Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time.
