Role Description The HCV Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bridgeport, CT responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program team. This role supervises staff workflows, assigns and reviews caseloads, monitors productivity, and ensures adherence to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The HCV Supervisor supports staff through training, coaching, and performance feedback to maintain high-quality customer service for program participants, landlords, and community partners. Daily responsibilities include resolving complex case issues, approving key eligibility and leasing determinations, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation within internal systems. The role collaborates with leadership to implement process improvements, produce required reports, and support audits or reviews that promote program efficiency and compliance. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program regulations, housing authority operations, and relevant state and federal compliance requirements. Experience supervising, training, or leading teams in a housing, social services, property management, or public administration setting. Strong skills in case management, workload prioritization, and maintaining accurate documentation and records. Proficiency with office software, databases, and housing management systems, with the ability to learn new tools and follow data integrity standards. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain policies and decisions to diverse stakeholders. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, exercise sound judgment, and resolve conflicts or escalated issues effectively. Commitment to equitable service delivery and respectful interaction with individuals and families from varied backgrounds. Preferred qualifications include prior HCV or affordable housing experience, familiarity with HUD regulations, and education in public administration, social work, business, or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
