Location: Florissant, MO 63031.
Duration: 13 Weeks contract (Possible Extension)
Shift: shifts will vary between 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm and (most often) 9am-5:30pm.
Job Description:
- Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
- Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
- Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established.
- Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments. Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
