Sales Representative

Location: Springfield, OR

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to actively identify, pursue, and engage prospective customers. This position is responsible for providing complete and appropriate solutions to clients in order to drive top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.

The Sales Representative will promote Our Client's services utilizing established company practices and approved marketing materials. This position will also attend client meetings, networking events, industry functions, and trade shows as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Attend marketing events as required and distribute marketing materials as needed.

• Set up and take down marketing displays as needed.

• Provide quantitative data to management to support and measure the results of marketing events.

• Develop and maintain current knowledge of Our Client's services, industry trends, and competitive information.

• Actively participate in key local industry groups and associations.

• Identify and resolve client concerns in order to strengthen relationships and grow overall sales.

• Work collaboratively with local and national operations teams to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the overall success of the organization.

Requirements

• Present and sell Our Client's services to current and prospective clients as directed by the Sales and Marketing Account Manager.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

• Identify and network with new sales prospects.

• Work collaboratively with local and national operations teams to promote customer satisfaction and sales growth.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.

• Work effectively under time constraints and meet specific timelines.

• Attend company-sponsored operations and safety training courses as required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to persuade and influence others.

• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

• Solid reading, writing, and math skills.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, spreadsheets, internet applications, CRM programs, and smartphones.

• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively to the public.

• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Possession and maintenance of a valid state driver's license and safe driving record.

• Ability to accommodate significant local travel.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasionally travel overnight.

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience.

• Experience implementing marketing and sales programs preferred.

• Experience in restoration, insurance, or construction preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Demands

• Occasional unassisted lifting of 5–40 lbs. (25% to 50% of the time).

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Manual dexterity required for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.

• Ability to bend, crouch, and stand as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
