IS Technician

Job Overview HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for HydroBlaster/Field Technicians to work at various customer locations. This team member is responsible for the successful execution of setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other related responsibilities. The HydroBlaster/Field Technician represents HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients and customers. RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times. Operate manual and automated Hydroblasting equipment. Operate special equipment such as Ultra High‑Pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, cutting equipment, and chemical cleaning equipment. Examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations. Perform routine and required maintenance on equipment and peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑the‑job training, and essential experience on other jobs. Understand English well enough to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations. Valid driver’s license and comply with company driving policy when operating company vehicles or personal vehicles on company business. OSHA certification may be required. Knowledgeable in operating emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers. May need to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). Education and Certifications High School diploma or equivalent (required). Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
