We are currently seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team in Jenkinsburg, Georgia. In this crucial role, you will help prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, and assist the surgical team during procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the safety and success of surgeries and the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain a sterile field during surgery and assist by passing instruments to the surgical team
• Perform accurate surgical counts before, during, and after procedures to ensure no instruments are left behind
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping the surgical site
• Clean and restock the operating room after each surgery
• Follow infection control protocols and adhere to safety standards
• Document surgical counts and patient data accurately in the medical records
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room procedures
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
