Details Long Term Care (LTC) setting within a Speech Language Pathology department Caseload typically includes 10-14 patients per day with treatment sessions averaging 30 minutes Days shift, 8 hours per day May float to Parsons as needed No weekend or on-call requirements 13 week assignment Requirements Current CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Massachusetts state SLP license required if applicable At least 1 year of SLP experience required New graduates accepted if they have completed a Level II clinical fieldwork experience (Level I observation alone not accepted) Experience in a LTC or SNF setting required One professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders Develop and adjust individualized plans of care based on patient progress and standardized assessments Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers Communicate effectively with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient care Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical standards Document all treatment information in the electronic documentation system accurately and timely Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings Attend required facility and company trainings and in-services Obtain necessary DME or supplies per clinical and regulatory requirements Supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or student SLPs as needed Maintain adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be accommodated American Traveler Job ID P-765078.
