Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Experience Required License: Active and valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS Certification Required Must-Have: - OTO experience required - Experience circulating in multiple specialties including GYN, General, URO, Plastics, OTO, Robotics, Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, and Transplant - Ability to manage call responsibilities and circulate all service lines Description: Position requires a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse. Experience with minimum total joints and a variety of minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working in a busy, high-acuity environment. Ability to float within the hospital is necessary. Weekend work is required, including Saturday shifts. Experience with neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular surgery is a plus. Daily census expected to be between 50 and 75 patients. Applicant should have experience with EPIC charting system. Must be a well-rounded circulating nurse willing to learn all specialties. Availability for a variety of surgeries, including cardiac and transplant, is necessary. Candidates should expect to participate in patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
