Job Description

Are you a driven, dedicated Interior Designer passionate about interior design who enjoys putting your creativity to work for customers and exceeds customers’ expectations?

We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to undertake a variety of residential projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements for the project
Determine the client’s goals and requirements for the project
Undertake design projects from concept to completion
Give preliminary estimates, costs and drawings on projects
Prepare detailed project specifications
Prepare scaled drawings, using computer software
Prepare contract for project
Prepare final drawings, pricing, bidding and selections
Research and decide on materials and product sourcing
Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements
Visit worksites to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans
Visit the site after the project is complete to ensure that the client is satisfied

Requirements

Degree in Interior Design
5+ years of proven working experience in designing residential projects
Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and all installations
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, and/or similar design software
Excellent portfolio of previous works
Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, fast-paced team player
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong technical and practical CAD skills with an understanding of architectural conventions, including floor plans, sections, millwork, mechanicals, and furnishings

Job Types: Full-time (Flexibility May Be Optional)

Pay: $50,123.00 - $75,456.00 per year
