If you're ready to lead critical programs, mentor rising talent, and push the limits of advanced satellite communications, this is your platform.POSITION SUMMARYAs an Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, integrate and test complex electrical systems for high-performance antenna systems. You'll work with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle - from concept development and detailed design through testing, manufacturing, and customer support for aerospace and defense applications.WHAT YOU'LL DODesign, evaluate, and update circuit board assemblies and cablingProvide critical support across all product development lifecycle phases - including conceptual, prototype, and production design - to guarantee assigned objectives are met on schedulePerform hands-on hardware sub-component, circuit board and system level electrical testing and integrationSupport multiple programs/products simultaneouslyDocumentation of Electrical designsAdditional responsibilities may include system integration, data collection, and product supportOther duties as assignedWHAT YOU BRINGMust-Haves:Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics EngineeringElectrical Engineering Experience: Experience in analog circuitry such as power regulation and sensor signal conditioning, digital circuitry interfaces such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and Serial UARTTechnical Experience: Experience in reading and deciphering technical documentation and specificationsOther Abilities: Technically proficient in MS Office products, excellent logical and problem-solving abilitiesStatus: U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) required to support U.S. Government contracts.Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Experience):Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the field of Electrical EngineeringElectrical Engineering Experience: Experience in FPGAs, DSPs, Microcontrollers, Circuit Board schematic and layout programsWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE HEREYou are a creative problem solver who approaches complex physical constraints with clarity and logicYou are an effective communicator who can pitch a complex design trade-off to engineers and business stakeholders alikeYou are collaborative by default, building strong bridges with manufacturing, suppliers, and customer teamsWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSTypical office, workstation, and lab/manufacturing environments.Ability to lift or move prototype equipment up to 40 lbs, on occasion.Comfortable working near testing setups that may involve elevated noise levels, chemicals, or electromagnetic energy.Willingness to travel up to 5% for vendor visits, customer reviews, or off-site testing.WHY JOIN THINKOM?At ThinKom, you'll help develop innovative technologies that enable critical communications and advanced electromagnetic systems for Commercial Inflight Connectivity (IFC), High-Power Microwave (HPM), and Gateway & Defense SATCOM applications.
