Job Title: Outpatient RN (Pulm/Allergy) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Epic experience preferred - Pulmonary/Allergy experience preferred - Allergy experience specifically helpful but not required Description: The position is for an Outpatient RN specializing in Pulmonary and Allergy care. This role is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. There are no weekend or on-call requirements. The traveler may need to float between similar units, but this should be rare. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. A South Carolina license or Compact license must be held before the start date. BLS certification is required. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. It is essential to submit all time-off requests at the time of application. Any approved time off must be a specific case. The facility allows calling off one shift every two weeks. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis. This position does allow for limited opportunities to work with individuals with asthma and allergies. Skills necessary for this position include effective communication and patient care coordination. Immediate availability for documentation and compliance processes is required. Travelers should complete all required labs and modules as outlined in the onboarding process.
