Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Manage a manageable caseload of clients, building rapport and establishing positive working relationships while maintaining ethical boundaries. \n
- Conduct initial intake assessments and actively engage in regular follow-ups to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge. \n
- Develop, implement, and oversee person-centered treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, goals, and progress. \n
- Maintain thorough documentation, including detailed progress notes for every session to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards. \n
- Engage in individual supervision sessions for professional growth, utilizing feedback to enhance therapeutic techniques and outcomes. \n
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, sharing insights and strategies to comprehensively support client interventions and treatment pathways. \n
- Foster a growth mindset by remaining open to new learning opportunities, methodologies, and therapeutic practices. \n
The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. This includes managing therapy for individuals of all ages, providing family counseling, and adapting therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. You will play an integral role in enhancing the overall well-being of your clients, contributing to their healing process through individualized care and support.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required. \n
- Must have a current, unrestricted, and active LPC license in Connecticut. \n
- A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is necessary to ensure a solid foundation in best practices. \n
- Proficiency in using computers for clinical documentation and communication, with familiarity in tools such as Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY preferred. \n

- Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, addressing complex mental health issues. \n
- Demonstrated competence in conducting intake assessments and crafting tailored treatment plans that provide measurable outcomes. \n
- A familiarity with telehealth practices and technology will be advantageous in delivering effective remote care. \n
