Internal Medicine Physician – Outpatient Primary Care\n

Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights or Weekends

A nationally supported primary care organization is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join its outpatient practice in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This opportunity is designed for a physician who wants to spend more meaningful time with patients while working within a highly supported, team-based care model. The practice focuses on comprehensive primary care for older adults, with an emphasis on prevention, chronic disease management, care coordination, and improved long-term health outcomes.

• Approximately 10–14 patients per day

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to an older-adult patient population
\n
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
\n
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive-care plans
\n
• Conduct routine examinations and health screenings
\n
• Prescribe and manage medications
\n
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
\n
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community resources
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary care-team meetings
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
\n
• Support quality, population-health, and patient-outcome initiatives
\n

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
\n
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
\n
• Board certification in Internal Medicine required
\n
• Active or eligible South Carolina medical license
\n
• Unrestricted DEA registration
\n
• Outpatient primary care, geriatric, or value-based care experience preferred
\n
• Strong communication and patient-engagement skills
\n
• Commitment to collaborative, relationship-based medicine
