Quality Project Manager

We're seeking an RMA Quality Project Manager to join a precision manufacturing and engineering company in Fairfield, OH.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating projects, repairs, customer requests, quality initiatives, or operational workflows within a manufacturing environment, ideally in an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 certified setting. Experience within aerospace, gas turbine, power generation, rotating equipment, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries is highly preferred.

In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers while owning the RMA process from initial customer intake through product evaluation, inspection, repair coordination, and final resolution. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, suppliers, and customers to investigate product issues, coordinate corrective actions, support inspections, and ensure returned products are resolved efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality, manufacturing, inspection, or technical project coordination/maanger professional who enjoys problem-solving, working cross-functionally, and serving as a key customer-facing resource.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Quality experience in an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 environment
  • Experience coordinating product returns, repairs, warranty claims, supplier returns, RMAs, quality investigations, or nonconforming material activities
  • Experience performing, supporting, or documenting product inspections and evaluations
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with gas turbines, power generation equipment, rotating equipment, or similar industrial products
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, or similar manufacturing systems
  • Knowledge of corrective action processes, supplier quality, MRB activities, and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, inspection reports, repair reports, and other quality documentation
  • Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, or similar inspection equipment

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 - $80,000 annual conversion s alary ($28.85 - $38.46/hr)
  • Exact compensation may vary and is based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
