We are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Per-Diem/PRN, Nights) Our ideal candidate will fulfill the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of routine and intensive therapy, diagnostic procedures, and patient assessments in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Requirements Graduation from an approved two-year respiratory therapist program Licensed by the District of Columbia Health Regulation Licensed as a RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist and certified by NBRC BLS, PALS, and ACLS required (from the American Heart Association) A minimum of 3-5 years, full time experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting Experience working with ICU, PEDS ER, and NICU Skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities. Basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
