Gesucht wird eine Pädagogin / ein Pädagoge für den Einsatz in einer Kindergartengruppe der German International School Chicago (GISC). Die GISC ist eine gemeinnützige, bilinguale Privatschule. Unser Kindergarten besteht aus zwei bis drei Gruppen mit jeweils maximal 16 Kindern und zwei Erzieher*innen pro Gruppe. Es handelt sich um einen Immersions-Kindergarten mit der Hauptsprache Deutsch. Die Kommunikationssprache mit den Eltern ist überwiegend Englisch, weshalb gute Englischkenntnisse Voraussetzung sind. Wir arbeiten nach dem International Baccalaureate (IB) Programm und nutzen die Beobachtungs- und Dokumentationsbögen KOMPIK aus Deutschland.
Tätigkeitsprofil
Neben der Verantwortlichkeit für die eigene Gruppe beteiligen sich die Pädagogen an Teammeetings, Workshops, Elterngesprächen und anderen schulischen Aktivitäten.

Abgeschlossenes Studium der Kindheitspädagogik (BA) mit mind. 2 Jahren Berufserfahrung (erforderlich für die Visabeantragung), Erzieherausbildung von Vorteil
Umfassende Kompetenzen für die pädagogische Arbeit mit Kindern im Alter von 3 bis 6 Jahren.
Erfahrung im didaktisch-differenzierten Arbeiten, um die individuelle Entwicklung der Kinder mit Wissen, Empathie und Sensibilität zu begleiten und zu fördern.
Erfahrungen im Bereich Spracharbeit
Kreative, belastbare Persönlichkeit mit sehr ausgeprägter Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
Eigenverantwortung, Selbstständigkeit, Organisationsvermögen
Kooperationsbereitschaft gegenüber Eltern, Schulleitung und dem Schulvorstand
Hohes Maß an Flexibilität und interkultureller Kompetenz
Engagement für die konzeptionelle Weiterentwicklung und Evaluation der Bildungsprozesse im Kindergarten und der allgemeinen Schulentwicklung.
Auslandserfahrung ist von Vorteil.
Sehr gute deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse
