Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in electrophysiology procedures to join our dynamic team. This 13-week assignment offers a comprehensive exposure to advanced cardiac interventions within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including coronary angios, PCIs, CTOs, EPS with ablations, pacemakers, TAVRs, and Watchman/Amulet devices.
• Assist in the preparation and operation of labs, ensuring all equipment is ready and sterile conditions are maintained.
• Monitor patient vitals and interpret EKG rhythms during procedures, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure accurate and efficient procedure flow.
• Adhere to protocols for infection control, radiation safety, and documentation in EPIC systems.
• Participate in on-call shifts, providing emergent coverage as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must hold either an RCIS or ARRT credential; if ARRT, a current state license is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in LHC, RHC, PCI, Impella, thrombectomy, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Proficient in EKG setup, rhythm interpretation, and patient vitals monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of cath lab equipment, sterile techniques, and procedural protocols.
• Minimum 1-year recent experience in a cath lab setting preferred.
