If you're ready to grow, innovate, and help us deliver excellence every single day, you belong here.Position Summary: The senior solution architecture manager uses their deep technical knowledge across multiple domains and excellent communication skills to work collaboratively to develop and implement patterns and best practices to ensure consultants and engineers deliver cost effective, secure, reliable, scalable and performant solutions that deliver business value. They have a deep understanding of the enterprise strategy and use their technical and communication skills to enable the strategy with technical solutions. A senior solution architecture manager will be accountable for the architectures of a complex ecosystem of enterprise platforms or products. They will work closely with product owners on PoCs, PoVs and ensuring the health of the products and platforms. They will be curious and be constantly scanning the market for new technologies and approaches that might add value.Values and Behavioral Standards: To ensure the effective communication and application of company values and behavioral standards, as stated in our company “Code of Conduct” policy, and to respond appropriately in the event of any known departure.Major Job Accountabilities: Based on the strategy work with the consultants, engineers and chapter leads to develop relevant patterns and best practices to enable the delivery of cost effective, secure, reliable, scalable and performant solutions that deliver business value.Effectively communicate the need for the standards so they are adopted and embraced by engineers and consultantsImplement effective practices to ensure compliance with standards and best practicesDevelop pragmatic, effective, flexible architectures based on principles rather than dogmatic rulesWork with product owners and chapter leads to deliver effective PoCs and PoVsCooperate and coordinate with other architects to ensure a cohesive tech architecture approachSupports squads in developing and maintaining suitable delivery metricsSupport Application Development Chapter Lead in implementing an engineering cultureSupport Portfolio Senior Director in implementing an adaptive human centric system of workChampions the adoption of agile practicesCoaches and develops the consultants and engineersDevelops a close working relationship with the principals to ensure technical excellence in everything we doFinancially literate and can interpret and make decisions based on P&L and balance sheetQualifications and Experience: Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 10+ years experience in software development or ERP/Platform consultingMinimum 5+ years of experience in relevant solution architectureMinimum 5+ years experience in cloud environments (preferably AWS)Minimum 3+ years experience in an agile delivery cultureMinimum 2+ years experience delivering applications within an automated CI/CD, SDLC and automated testing advantageousAirline or logistics experience an advantage but not essentialMinimum 4+ years experience coaching junior team membersTOGAF qualifications advantageousSkillsExperienced influencer and story teller with very good Oral/Written communication skillsSkilled Workshop facilitation in complex environmentsFlexibility to adapt to a fast paced work environmentCritical thinking skillsSelf-motivatedTeam playerAble to build a high performing team cultureAble to coach more junior team members and stakeholdersDeep technical knowledge across multiple domains and working knowledge of enterprise level integrationSpecial demands:The role will require frequent (~monthly) domestic travel and occasional (annually) international travelApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
