This is an in-office role supporting a collaborative accounting team and working closely with project and operations stakeholders. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Pay: $20-$24/hour Location: In Office What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented AR professional with a solid employment track record who takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and relationship management. Qualifications High scool diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (construction industry strongly preferred) Strong understanding of construction billing, including job/project numbers and high-volume invoicing Experience with outbound collections and professional customer communication Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word (SAP experience is a plus) History of job stability and commitment to long-term roles What You’ll Be Doing Manage client and project-based billing, ensuring invoices are applied accurately Conduct collections via phone and email for assigned accounts Prepare A/R aging reports and reconcile daily depositsProcess Notices to Owner, liens, sworn statements, and lien releases Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer requests for invoices, statements, and supporting documentation Assist with credit applications and provide support on additional accounting tasks as needed Why This Opportunity Stable, well-established construction organization High visibility role with hands-on training and clear expectations Consistent schedule and fully in-office team environment Ideal for someone seeking a career path in accounting—not a short-term position TEWS has opportunities with leading companies for professionals at all career stages, whether you're a seasoned consultant, recent graduate, or transitioning into a new phase of your career, we are here to help.
