Key Responsibilities High‑Quality Workmanship: Complete handyman and home improvement projects including repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc. Project Estimating: Must be able to accurately estimate job scope, time, and materials for clients. Job Management: Organize and manage the equipment required to complete daily tasks efficiently. Customer Service: Work closely with clients to provide exceptional customer service and a great experience. Brand Ambassador: Represent House Doctors in the local community and network with potential customers as needs arise. Skills & Requirements Experience: 2+ years of construction or handyman experience preferred. (We will consider highly motivated trainees with less experience starting at the training rate if you are willing to learn!) Availability: Must be able to handle some on‑call shifts and work some weekends as needed to meet client demands. Trade Knowledge: Hands‑on knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry. Tools & Transport: Must have your own standard hand and power tools, plus a reliable car or truck to get to job sites. Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and operate basic computer programmes and systems. Physical Fitness: Able to perform physical labour work, including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and safely handling tools. Screening: Valid driver’s licence required. Must have solid references and be able to pass a standard background check.
