Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, ensuring effective communication with healthcare teams, and maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Shift details include night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) with alternating weekends. The schedule follows a 3/2 split, resulting in four shifts one week and three shifts the next. Overtime is applicable after 48 hours in a week.

Qualifications include:

• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1.
