Key Responsibilities Direct the flow of traffic in the customs area; direct customers to additional Cart Management Units. Suggest use of credit card payment. Handle cash quickly and accurately. Maintain a balanced "Bank" of cash to break large bills for passengers and occasionally exchange foreign currency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of carts and CMUs, tracking and rails. Identify disabled or unusable carts, place them in a designated area, and alert supervisor/MOD. Transport carts from high-return areas to high-rental areas to ensure availability to customers. Use mechanized equipment to move multiple carts throughout the airport. Maintain communication and cooperation with other employees and facility management. Perform job in an honest, reliable, and professional manner. Maintain a clean area where Smarte Carte operates. Complete additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in customer service. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum six months of previous work experience. Certifications & Licenses Airport Badge (required). Valid Driver's License (required). Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull 75–100 lbs. to move 15 carts simultaneously. Walk and stand for duration of shift. Skills Flexibility – Intermediate. Time Management – Intermediate. Cleaning – Intermediate. Customer Service – Advanced. Communication – Advanced.
